Timeout

Sometimes it beats my imagination
How we settle down,
Thinking, analyzing, Justifying,
Dissecting, managing;
Setting objectives,
Priorities, strategies, tactics;
And deny ourselves some benefits
-I mean, like 'do yourself a favour
And take a timeout'
Life isn't a fully analytical business meeting
Consisting of the best, who know every right move
Knowing when to honour the Knight, or seek the Bishop
Involving the King or adorning the Queen
Who to invite to the Castle or when to move the Pawns.
Wait a minute, take a chill pill;
Breathe out heavily, gaze it in the face.
That thing you've always loved to have,
That move you've always wanted to make
If you know you'd fall, get a mattress ready.
If you're going to be broke, buy that stuff.
Life isn't a bed of roses, true;
The thorns in 'em are inevitable anyway!

Also spells risk: LIVE IT!
That's why you involve the Omniscient's mercy and grace
That's why you live life as it comes
It's why you hope for the best and prepare for the worst.
Dedicate a time, a day to your needs, your loves;
If it means being deprived, broke,
Make yourself the happiest.
